Senior Marketing Manager 2008 - Present

I develop and maintain all messaging and branding for Berkleemusic, Berklee's award-winning online extension school, and I work closely with the Creative Director to maintain visual identity and integrity across print, web, and interactive platforms. As Marketing Communications Manager, I am:

  • A Content Creator, responsible for all aspects of outreach and communications—including email outreach, print collateral, interactive campaigns (PPC paid search and display ads on Google and Facebook, SEO optimization), media buys, print ads, events and conferences, press releases, video content, and more—from scheduling and concept through production and fulfillment.
  • A Project Manager, experienced in leading projects and teams, and directly managing internal staff (full-time Video Producer and interns) as well as external resources (freelance writers and designers, vendors, and other partners).
  • A Social Media Manager, guiding Berkleemusic's strategy—growing new communications channels, creating and managing content, and engaging students and customers—on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Berkleemusic’s own blog network.

Personal

I like to think I'm a fairly well-rounded person who keeps busy with life—family, friends, work, fun—and strives for balance between all the directions those pull me. My interests are varied; I like baseball, backyard barbecues, and microbrews—but I also like to bake and I've been to the ballet. I'm often MVP in pub trivia (I recently pulled "Fibonacci sequence" out of nowhere for the win). I love discovering new music or spending time with familiar artists and albums, and I can often be found organizing my iTunes library. I write creatively, and I'm always trying to tackle my ever-growing reading pile.
